groupThe Tanzania Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) Society is a voluntary organization centered around Otolaryngology and related practices. As a society, it aims to allow individuals interested in the field of otolaryngology to come together as an organized and professional body. Through this organization, TENTS is able to promote training and research in this field, and thus advance the practice of otolaryngology in Tanzania.

As a professional body, TENTS is responsible for the setting and maintaining of standards of competence and conduct in this practice in Tanzania. It is also responsible for communicating and corresponding with sister bodies in East Africa, and in the rest of the world. Furthermore, the society is in a position to advise the government and the public on all matters in otolaryngology, audiology, speech pathology and related practices.
